On last night's episode of Royal Pains, Evan (Paulo Costanzo) agreed to be a young woman's faux beau for cash. Paige (Drop Dead Diva's Deb, Brooke D'Orsay) needed to send her wealthy parents photos of her and her boyfriend and didn't think they'd respond well to her much older real beau (Peter Strauss). Cue Evan's Pretty Woman-style makeover and him actually falling for her. I thought the writers could've taken the Pretty Woman references one-step further and have him leave the cash on his car seat when she dropped him off, but that would've revealed his feelings too soon. Now that her parents want to meet Evan in-person - apparently for a hunting trip, pictured, in the Aug. 5 episode - the writers can have Paige unknowingly torture Evan more with pretend scenarios. With Paige's boyfriend out of the picture (he didn't appreciate being a secret), what reason do you think the show will give for ultimately tearing these two apart? To Read More Click Here.

Would Royal Pains' Hank and Evan really have been able to fly in and out of Cuba? Concierge doctor Hank Lawson (Mark Feuerstein) and his brother Evan (Paulo Costanzo) were whisked off via private jet to Cuba by their benefactor, Boris (Campbell Scott) - but what about the ban that prevents Americans from visiting the communist country? It's possible that arrangements could've been made to get Hank around the red tape because of his M.D. - dispensations are made for medical professionals on research trips - but it's unlikely that it would've been so spontaneous. "It requires a lot of paperwork to get the various permits and visas," says Saejin Camp, a flight advisor for OneSky Jets, a jet charter service. "We do surprise trips all the time to different destinations, and Cuba isn't one of them." Source Here

The Force apparently wasn't with "Star Wars" actor Hayden Christensen when he pitched an idea for a new TV series to the USA Network. The Canadian-born star and his older brother yesterday filed suit in Manhattan federal court against the cable outfit, charging that it stole their idea for a comedic drama about a "concierge" doctor who makes house calls to the rich and famous.

Mark Feuerstein has had a checkered career to say the least. Through the 1990s and the most of the 2000s, Feuerstein was in the same category that Paula Marshall and Jon Cryer once occupied, and where Alex O'Loughlin currently finds himself: talented actors who get repeatedly chosen as the lead in high-profile new shows, only to have the shows crash and burn.
But with USA Network's 'Royal Pains,' which is in its second season and airs Thursdays at 10PM ET, Feuerstein has a legitimate hit on his hands. And he's very appreciative of the show's success.
".. I truly count my blessings every day I come to work," he told me last week, "and I just can't believe that my story was written in this way where I got to feel like I was a star at times in shows that failed or a glorified extra in other situations, and everything in between."
