Thanks to Royal Pains' beautiful beachside setting in the Hamptons, every episode feels like vacation and every location looks like paradise. On Thursday's episode, airing at 10/9c on USA, the cast and crew take their love for the sun one step further and way down south when Hank (Mark Feuerstein) and Evan (Paulo Costanzo) travel to Cuba after Boris' health takes a turn for the worse. This two-episode diversion out of the country, with Puerto Rico subbing for Cuba, may seem like an easy excuse for a paid vacation. However, Feuerstein says the exotic locale was instrumental in keeping the summer-set show on schedule after USA ordered 18 episodes for Season 2. "To have good weather consistently in New York for six months is a great challenge, so we had to start shooting when there were no leaves on the trees in New York," he tells TVGuide.com. "We literally jumped into our second season by shooting episodes 4 and 5 first, and in Puerto Rico. It was chaotic to say the least, for the writers and the actors to dive in headlong into the middle and in another city." To Read More Click Here.Â

Royal Pains goes Cuban for a two-parter kicking off Thursday (June 24, 10/9c, USA), with special guest stars Tony Plana (Ugly Betty) and Mexican sensation Ana de la Reguera (Cop Out), who will also be seen as Danny McBride's season-long love interest on HBO's returning Eastbound & Down. The Royal Pains action begins with Hank (Mark Feuerstein) heading to a Cuban hacienda, where Boris (Campbell Scott) is ailing. There, he meets a sexy bartender named Carmen. "I'm Hank's love interest for these two episodes," says Ana, who shot her scenes in Puerto Rico last April. Carmen's uncle (Plano) has faked his death and is writing an underground political blog criticizing the government. When he is injured in an accident, Carmen recruits Dr. Hank. "We can't go to the hospital because he's supposed to be dead." To Read More Click Here.Â

As physician's assistance Divya Katdare on Royal Pains, Reshma Shetty has landed her first major TV role. She spoke about it with TV Guide this week and gave readers an idea of what's ahead on this USA summer hit... On the addition of Anastasia Griffith (as Dr. Emily Peck) to the cast: She's going to bring big trouble, and Divya's defenses go up heavily for very good reason. Emily could be causing problems for HankMed, and Divya senses that earlier than the boys do. To Read More Click Here.Â

The Long Island princesses who say "ahhh" to Dr. Hank Lawson on Royal Pains. The way ex-con Neal Caffrey charms his way to FBI immunity on White Collar. The sex appeal of Michael Westen's Miami spy circuit on Burn Notice. Sure, characters are welcome but you watch USA Network because someone somewhere is always scheming, punching, backstabbing or slipping naked into a ridiculously expensive pool.
TV's guiltiest pleasures? Oh, yeah. But they're also three of the most popular shows on cable, and TV Guide Magazine kicked back with the dudes who star on them. In a breezy oceanfront house in Malibu, Mark Feuerstein from Royal Pains, Matt Bomer from White Collar and Jeffrey Donovan from Burn Notice hung around after our cover shoot for some freewheeling, chest-thumping, my-show-is-bigger-than-yours guy talk.

USA's hit medical dramedy has cast the Fonz himself, Henry Winkler, as Eddie, the deadbeat dad of Hank (Mark Feuerstein) and Evan (Paulo Costanzo) Lawson. After cleaning out their bank account - a totally uncool move - the old man apparently redeemed himself, returning their money. Meanwhile, Mary Lynn Rajskub, who wrapped her small-screen gig as world-saving CTU techie Chloe O'Brian only a few weeks ago, got back in touch with her lighter side as Brooke, a neurotic aspiring chef whose heart was almost literally broken by a yoga teacher. Now that Eddie has hooked up with Brooke's wealthy stepmom (Christine Ebersole), Winkler will be sticking around for a while, and one can only hope Rajskub will return as well.
With such inspired guest casting, Royal Pains seems in no danger of jumping the proverbial shark anytime soon.
Did you think Henry Winkler and Mary Lynn Rajskub were a pleasure on Royal Pains?
