On the addition of Anastasia Griffith (as Dr. Emily Peck) to the cast: She's going to bring big trouble, and Divya's defenses go up heavily for very good reason. Emily could be causing problems for HankMed, and Divya senses that earlier than the boys do. To Read More Click Here.Â

The Long Island princesses who say "ahhh" to Dr. Hank Lawson on Royal Pains. The way ex-con Neal Caffrey charms his way to FBI immunity on White Collar. The sex appeal of Michael Westen's Miami spy circuit on Burn Notice. Sure, characters are welcome but you watch USA Network because someone somewhere is always scheming, punching, backstabbing or slipping naked into a ridiculously expensive pool.
TV's guiltiest pleasures? Oh, yeah. But they're also three of the most popular shows on cable, and TV Guide Magazine kicked back with the dudes who star on them. In a breezy oceanfront house in Malibu, Mark Feuerstein from Royal Pains, Matt Bomer from White Collar and Jeffrey Donovan from Burn Notice hung around after our cover shoot for some freewheeling, chest-thumping, my-show-is-bigger-than-yours guy talk.

Ah, the heart. It's a life-giving organ that means well, and can bring two people closer together. But a wounded heart can also lash out at old hurts and get you into trouble. And it was all of these cases in the second episode of the season.
And I'm happy to report that this episode seemed to gel a lot better than the season 2 premiere: the rapport between Hank and Evan was strong and snappy, Christine Ebersole made a welcome return as the wealthy and surgically addicted Ms. Newberg, and we got a special treat of a guest star in '24' fixture Mary Lynn Rajskub.
Rajskub played Blake, Ms. Newberg's stepdaughter who gave up meat and dropped out of culinary school in Lyon to live the life of an ascetic in San Francisco after falling for a hot young yogi named Jamie. Trouble was, she was also falling in all the wrong places -- first at Ms. Newberg's shindig, and then while attempting some balancing moves. While Blake tried to shoo away the bobbles with wryly funny excuses like "I'm suffering from a condition known as 'complete lack of coordination,' and I've had it since birth," both Hank and Divya had their doubts, and insisted that Blake be strapped to a very uncool heart monitor.
Turned out it wasn't her age or her lack of bendiness that was causing her palpitations: it was her heart. Jamie turned out to be as awful as that gluten-free casserole Blake was trying to make, because he didn't have the soy balls to break up with her in person. Instead, holistic boy did it via (gasp!) text message and tried to cloak it in some ying-yang nonsense. (No one treats Chloe that way and gets away with it!) Just goes to show that one should never give up baked goods for anyone.

USA's hit medical dramedy has cast the Fonz himself, Henry Winkler, as Eddie, the deadbeat dad of Hank (Mark Feuerstein) and Evan (Paulo Costanzo) Lawson. After cleaning out their bank account - a totally uncool move - the old man apparently redeemed himself, returning their money. Meanwhile, Mary Lynn Rajskub, who wrapped her small-screen gig as world-saving CTU techie Chloe O'Brian only a few weeks ago, got back in touch with her lighter side as Brooke, a neurotic aspiring chef whose heart was almost literally broken by a yoga teacher. Now that Eddie has hooked up with Brooke's wealthy stepmom (Christine Ebersole), Winkler will be sticking around for a while, and one can only hope Rajskub will return as well.
With such inspired guest casting, Royal Pains seems in no danger of jumping the proverbial shark anytime soon.
Did you think Henry Winkler and Mary Lynn Rajskub were a pleasure on Royal Pains?

Henry Winkler joins the cast of USA's "Royal Pains" on Thursday (June 10) in the recurring role of Hank (Mark Feurstein) and Evan's (Paulo Costanzo) scam artist dad, Eddie Lawson. We're definitely excited to see Henry "the Fonz" Winkler in USA's hit show -- and we're not the only ones. TV son Mark Feurstein recently told Zap2it's Korbi TV, "I love having the Fonz as my dad.... I worshipped the Fonz growing up." Even after over a quarter century has passed since Winkler played the role of Arthur Fonzarelli, many (like his "Royal Pains" co-star) still know him as "the Fonz." Perhaps that's because most folks don't know what exactly he's been up to since his iconic role on "Happy Days." So ... we thought we'd take a closer look into Winkler's post-"Happy Days" (1974 - 1984), pre-"Royal Pains" (2010) days to answer the burning question: where in the world was Winkler for the past 26 years? We've officially hit the summer TV season, Squadders. And what could be better for these warm nights than the second season of the USA Network's 'Royal Pains'? This show is a perfect prescription for the summer: It's like a tasty treat that's super lite, fun and easy to consume, but with enough brainy medical terminology to ensure not too many brain cells are lost while enjoying that Hamptons breeze. To catch up: Prominent New York doctor Hank Lawson (the always-affable Mark Feuerstein), blackballed in Manhattan after a billionaire trustee died on his watch, finds a second life as an in-demand concierge doctor in the Hamptons. Season 2's first episode was all about relationships, fathers and sons and being caught between a rock and a hard place. Really, it was all about 'Spasticity.' As in Spencer the Spaz, that guy from the infomercials (played by Kyle Bornheimer, aka that guy from all the sitcoms). And also as in giving family members some slack. To Read More Click Here.Â
