After taking a Thursday night off, Royal Pains returns this week with a new episode.

Titled "In Vino Veritas," it will take viewers inside a Hamptons' winery, while also showcasing Hank's improvisational medical skills.

Last night's episode of Royal Pains had our favorite brotherly duo back in Cuba for unfinished business - Evan was abducted in the final scene last week, after all.

"Mano a Mano" wasted no time showing us who Evan abductors were - the beautiful bartender Carmen and her brother Oscar. The reason? Their uncle got his hand trapped in the car engine.

Before I go any further - I have to take a second to give a shout-out to my favorite Hispanic father - Ignacio! From one of my most dearly missed shows: Ugly Betty. It really was a surprising treat to see him!

Okay, back to the review.

Did anyone else find the kiss between Hank and Carmen completely forced and a bit unusual? Just a couple episodes, it looked like the sparks were still flying between him and Jill. What gives? And if he was giving into temptation, why wait until the last minute before you leave the country? Do you think if he gets back together with Jill, he should say something about his tropical kiss?

Looking ahead, USA airs a new installment next Thursday. It's titled "Mano a Mano" and it will feature a major illness and a kidnapping.

But with USA Network's 'Royal Pains,' which is in its second season and airs Thursdays at 10PM ET, Feuerstein has a legitimate hit on his hands. And he's very appreciative of the show's success.

".. I truly count my blessings every day I come to work," he told me last week, "and I just can't believe that my story was written in this way where I got to feel like I was a star at times in shows that failed or a glorified extra in other situations, and everything in between."

Well, I have to admit, anything involving Boris always keeps us entertained and wanting more! Do you think that they will be able to find a cure for his rare and mysterious genetic disease before it is too late? I hope so!

How do you feel about his relationship with Marissa? Do you think Marissa is using Boris for his ability to fund her clinical trials or in fact she loves him back? Something tells me that Marissa's intentions are not as pure as they look. Perhaps she has fallen in love with him, but there needs to be more evidence to prove this to me. I am not buying what she is selling - not even for a second!

Probably the most amusing part of last night's episode had to be the dynamics between Divya and the new doctor Emily. Emily definitely is a b*tch! I was certain that Divya would find something on her! Now that it looks like Divya will have to work with her again, do you think Emily will gloat about this?

Episode Synopsis: Boris flies Hank to another country, where he and another doctor research potentially life saving gene therapies. Back in the Hamptons, Hank's temporary replacement, Dr. Emily Peck, rubs Divya the wrong way.

Thanks to Royal Pains' beautiful beachside setting in the Hamptons, every episode feels like vacation and every location looks like paradise.

On Thursday's episode, airing at 10/9c on USA, the cast and crew take their love for the sun one step further and way down south when Hank (Mark Feuerstein) and Evan (Paulo Costanzo) travel to Cuba after Boris' health takes a turn for the worse.

This two-episode diversion out of the country, with Puerto Rico subbing for Cuba, may seem like an easy excuse for a paid vacation. However, Feuerstein says the exotic locale was instrumental in keeping the summer-set show on schedule after USA ordered 18 episodes for Season 2.

"To have good weather consistently in New York for six months is a great challenge, so we had to start shooting when there were no leaves on the trees in New York," he tells TVGuide.com. "We literally jumped into our second season by shooting episodes 4 and 5 first, and in Puerto Rico. It was chaotic to say the least, for the writers and the actors to dive in headlong into the middle and in another city."

The Royal Pains action begins with Hank (Mark Feuerstein) heading to a Cuban hacienda, where Boris (Campbell Scott) is ailing. There, he meets a sexy bartender named Carmen. "I'm Hank's love interest for these two episodes," says Ana, who shot her scenes in Puerto Rico last April. Carmen's uncle (Plano) has faked his death and is writing an underground political blog criticizing the government. When he is injured in an accident, Carmen recruits Dr. Hank. "We can't go to the hospital because he's supposed to be dead."
