Mark Feuerstein plays Dr. Hank Lawson, the lead character in Royal Pains, but he spent most of his early career in minor roles throughout various television series from Caroline in the City to The West Wing. He got his big break on the 80's soap Loving and his first movie role in 1998's Practical Magic. In between, he was in multiple sitcoms with varying degrees of success--mostly failures. His role as Joe DeStefano, one of Lea Thompson's love interests in Caroline in the City, assured his "comedic actor" title and saw him typecast in the sitcom sphere, culminating with a major role in Good Morning, Miami. Royal Pains should afford him the ability to flex his comedic muscle as well as showcase his dramatic acting skills.
